Requirements for Solar Panel Installation
Solar panels may not be suitable for every home. Shingle roofs should be less than 15 years old, large enough to house at least one 15-square-foot solar panel, and have a mid-slope that isn’t too steep or too flat. Lastly, your roof should get 5 to 6 hours of direct sunlight to get the most out of your solar panels— although solar panels still work on cloudy days!
